Sudhir Dhawale is an activist, poet and writer, and the editor of the bimonthly magazine Vidrohi. He has been active in the movement to end the caste system for over three decades. He has been arrested twice for participating in the anti-caste movement. The anti-people government kept him in jail for a total of ten years.
